How BioPouches Ships Custom Flexible Packaging From China to Customers Worldwide

2026-10-07

We manufacture custom flexible packaging in China and ship finished orders to customers around the world. Most orders go by sea, air freight is available when a deadline is tight, and we coordinate the shipment as part of the order so you are not left to work out international freight on your own.

BioPouches is the specialized flexible packaging brand of the XWPAK packaging group. This article covers what happens once your pouches come off the production line: how the order is prepared, how it travels, how long the trip can take, and what we can and cannot promise.

What Happens After You Contact BioPouches

Shipping is the last part of a longer process. Here is the full sequence from first conversation to delivery:

This article is about steps 5 to 7. Steps 1 to 4 decide when your goods are ready. Steps 5 to 7 decide when they arrive. When you plan a launch, keep those two clocks separate.

How We Prepare an Order for Shipment

Once production and quality checks are finished, the pouches are packed into cartons. The carton count and the weight and volume of the shipment are what shape the freight options and the cost, so we confirm those details before anything is booked.

For most of the commercial orders we handle, that is also the point where we settle sea or air with the customer. Goods being ready and goods being delivered are two different dates, and we plan them separately.

Shipping BioPouches Orders From China to the USA

We regularly ship flexible packaging from China to customers in the United States. It is one of our established routes, and we use freight-forwarding relationships we already work with, so a US customer does not need to find a forwarder before placing an order.

One of our recent US orders was delivered in approximately 14 days. That is a real example from our shipping, not a guaranteed transit time. Sea freight is the normal choice for commercial quantities, and air freight is there when speed matters more than cost.

When we plan a US shipment with a customer, we treat 14 days as what can happen on a good run and ask them to leave more room than that, especially if the packaging is tied to a launch date.

Shipping BioPouches Orders From China to Canada

We ship from our manufacturing operations in China to customers in Canada. Canada shipments can sometimes follow a timeframe similar to our US shipments, depending on the destination within Canada and conditions at the time.

We also have an office in Canada, along with stocking and warehouse support and R&D capabilities. To be clear about what that means: custom production stays in China. The Canada side supports customers, stocking and development work, and customers are welcome to visit the office.

Shipping BioPouches Orders From China to the UK

We have an established shipping route to the UK. Some of our UK orders have arrived in approximately 12 days under favorable shipping conditions.

That is a faster real-world example, not a standard transit time, and we do not quote it as a promise. It happens, but a UK customer should plan for longer than 12 days.

Shipping BioPouches Orders From China to Australia

Australia is one of our established international shipping routes, handled through our freight-forwarding network. As a general planning range for sea freight from China, allow roughly three to six weeks door to door once you include loading, vessel schedule, customs clearance and final delivery.

Air freight is much shorter, usually days rather than weeks, but costs more. These are approximate planning ranges, not BioPouches delivery commitments.

Shipping BioPouches Orders From China to New Zealand

New Zealand is another regular destination supported through our freight-forwarding network. For sea freight, a reasonable planning range is roughly four to six weeks door to door, with customs clearance and final delivery on top of the sea leg.

Air freight shortens this considerably when a deadline requires it. As with every route, treat these figures as planning ranges, not guarantees.

Do We Ship Flexible Packaging by Sea or Air?

Most BioPouches international orders ship by sea, because it generally makes more economic sense for commercial packaging quantities. Air freight is available for customers who need packaging sooner, and it is normally more expensive.

The right choice depends on order volume, carton count, shipment weight and volume, destination, your deadline and your budget. Flexible packaging is lighter than rigid packaging, so air freight is sometimes realistic for smaller or urgent orders. A large carton count changes that math quickly.

We do not publish freight prices because they move with shipment size, route and season. We give you a figure for your specific order.

What We Have Seen and What to Plan For

DestinationReal example from our shipmentsApproximate planning range (sea)
USAAbout 14 days on a recent orderRoughly three to five weeks
CanadaCan sometimes be similar to the USARoughly three to five weeks
UKAbout 12 days under favorable conditionsRoughly three to five weeks
AustraliaNo example quotedRoughly three to six weeks
New ZealandNo example quotedRoughly four to six weeks
These are not delivery guarantees. The planning ranges are general freight estimates, not BioPouches commitments, and the examples are real shipments we are sharing because they happened, not because we promise them. Actual transit depends on destination, port, vessel schedule, shipping service, customs clearance, final-mile delivery, shipment size, time of year, and whether sea or air freight is used.

Ready-Stock Packaging and Shipping Time

Not every customer needs a full custom production run. Depending on current availability, we can offer standard ready-stock packaging such as blank pouches. For suitable projects, available stock shortens the wait before goods are ready to ship, because there is no complete custom production cycle to sit through.

Ready stock is subject to current stock availability. We do not keep every pouch size, material or style permanently in stock. It also only changes when your goods are ready to ship. International transit takes the same time either way.

Using Your Own Freight Forwarder

Most customers let us coordinate shipping, since we already work with freight forwarders on these routes. If you have your own forwarder or particular logistics requirements, tell us early and we will discuss the arrangement. The sooner we know, the easier it is to line up carton packing and pickup with your forwarder's schedule.

Where Our Operations Are Based

  • China: manufacturing, production, quality control and R&D

  • Canada: office, customer support, warehouse and stocking support, and R&D capabilities

Manufacturing remains in China. If you need custom paper tubes rather than flexible pouches, our sister brand Earthycores handles custom paper tube packaging within the same group.

What to Tell Us Before We Plan Your Shipment

  • Your destination country and where the goods need to arrive

  • The date you need the packaging in hand

  • Whether you prefer sea or air freight

  • Whether you plan to use your own freight forwarder

  • Whether the order includes ready-stock items or is fully custom
